OUR MISSION

Our mission statement is "Restoring aircraft that will restore lives." We believe that God has given us the gift of craftsmanship firstly so that we would be an image of God, the great craftsman and creator , but also so that we might join him in restoring and developing his creation. We offer our skill in aircraft maintenance as sacrifice to God, praying that his will would be accomplished through our work and that his name be glorified in our labor.

OUR STORY

Pontes Mission aircraft was started in the spring of 2023 in response to an opportunity. Our goal was to transform two abandoned aircraft shells into missionary flight equipped tools that could aid in the mission to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to every people group.

Since its conception, God has been abundantly faithful in growing and leading us in our pursuit of this goal. We were officially recognized as a Non-profit organization in December of 2023.

While we are still in the infancy stages of this organization, we trust that God will grow us into the people he wants us to be, doing the work he wants us to do. We look forward to seeing God use this organization for his purposes.

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the 66 books of the Old and New Testament alone as inspired by the Holy Spirit, inerrant as originally given, and that they are the final authority for our faith and practice.
We believe in the incarnation and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, who by His shed blood and substitutionary death paid the redemptive price for all our sins and for the sins of the whole world. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven to intercede for us.
We believe that man was created by God in His own image for the express purpose of glorifying Him, that through disobedience he became separated from God’s life and fellowship and that he needs personal redemption from sin through new birth.
We believe in eternal salvation of all who trust the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior and the eternal punishment of all who reject Him.
We believe in the work of God’s Spirit in the new birth, indwelling the believer, causing him to grow into the likeness of Christ and filling him with power to live a godly life and to bear witness to Jesus Christ.
We believe in the union of all true believers as one body in Christ.
We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to the earth bodily to claim His own people, to vindicate Himself, and to set all things in order.
We believe that the Great Commission is a mandate to every believer to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation and people group.
